get help.

What if we did ‘get help’?
What if we did it everyday?
What if we encouraged others
To not believe the lie
That you’re on your own
That others want to watch you drown
That your sacrifice is worthless
That it costs more to ask, to scream, to cry -
Someone help me.

You can get help on your own
But we can do it together
I’ll carry you
And I won’t throw you
At our enemies
Instead,
We’ll go together.
We’ll lighten the load.

Yes, there’s a mountain
Between here and there
And it seems impassable
But I promise
There is another side.
Between here and all you are carrying
Between here and the weight
That’s holding you down.

Please,
Let’s do -
Get help.
